About the event

John Grabowski, Ph.D., is widely known as one of the leading experts on Cleveland history. He’s a retired associate professor of history at CWRU, while still serving as a contract researcher at the Western Reserve Historical Society. He’s also the editor of The Encyclopedia of Cleveland History, working with development on a new version and a new editor for the on-line site. He probably knows more Cleveland stories than any other Cleveland history expert! He’ll share the tale of Progressive Cleveland (about 1900-1920) as it was intertwined with President Garfield’s oldest sons, Harry Augustus and James Rudolph.
Please RSVP by November 6th.
Light refreshments will be served after the talk.
The talk takes place on the Case Western Reserve University campus in University Circle.
The Baker-Nord Institute for the Humanities is located in Room 206 of Clark Hall.
